How to bond PMMA without bubbles?
1. When the PMMA board is eroded by adhesives, it will leave traces that are difficult to remove. Therefore, we can use stickers to protect the parts that do not need to be adhered to.
2. Some oils, dust or bubbles will hinder the uniform application of the adhesive and leave bubbles, so they can be removed by cleaning.
3. Excessive use of a small amount of adhesives will make the adhesives not completely slow down, or bring air into the curing shrinkage of the adhesives and affect the appearance.
4. Direct blowing will whiten the edge of the adhesive section because of the rapid volatilization of the adhesive.
5. Indoor humidity and temperature will have a direct impact on the adhesion of PMMA products.
6. The stress on the surface of acrylic board and the surface stress and degradants caused by cutting tools will affect the bonding effect of PMMA board.
7. Before the PMMA products are bonded with adhesives and can not be completely cured, the direct long-term exposure to sunlight will cause the PMMA products to yellowing in varying degrees, which will seriously affect the aesthetics of acrylic products.
