Seven key points of the silk printing process of plexiglass:

1. A basic requirement for perfect image reproduction is that the transparent negative of the positive image should be of good quality, that is, the edges of the dots should be neat and opaque. The color separator uses the same color mark as the printing ink used.

2. Place the negative of the positive picture on the glass plate, then expose it. Place the tensioned screen plate on the negative of the positive picture and parallel to the image axis. If the tortoise print appears, turn the screen to the left or right until the tortoise print disappears, usually turning 7 degrees. The area prone to tortoise lines is located in the direction of the wire mesh and at the intersection of the wire mesh. The main color and darker color cause more problems of tortoise lines.

3. For four-color printing, the same size and stable aluminium mesh frame should be used. The mesh frames used are all stretched with the same type and type of screen. The use of dyed silk screen helps to eliminate the tortoise pattern. The tension of screen plate should be uniform everywhere, and the tension of four screen plates printed in four colors is the same.

4. Grinded ink scraper is very important for high quality printing. The Shore hardness of the blade is about 70. The scraper should be set at 75 degrees. If the angle of the scraper is too flat, the printed image may be blurred. If the angle is too steep, the risk of screen printing image distortion will be greater.

5. The ink returning knife should not be too low. If this is the case, the film will be filled with excessive ink, and the printed matter will be easily blurred and dirty.

6. Mesh tone images are printed with high viscous ink. The finer the screen, the stronger the color of the ink.

7. When using UV ink, the tone range of the mesh sunshade picture should be 5%-80%, and the Shaw hardness of the rubber scraper should be 75%. In order to control the dirty of UV ink in color overlay printing, it is suggested to print in the order of blue, magenta, yellow and black. When using UV ink, the screen thickness should not exceed 5um.
